- Crowd Booster: Another good analytic tool
- Peer Index: Another good analytic tool
- My Tweeple ($): Twitter Account Evaluation Tool. Follower counts, ratios, tweet counts. Review Recent Tweets (See what your followers are saying), Follow-back, hide or block new followers. Create Tags, Notes, and Share. Good tool to export your entire follower list to a csv file.
- Twitter Counter: Good Twitter Analytics / Comparison & Statistic Tool. Also has some good blog scripts and Twitter Tools
- Twitter Grader: Analyses your Twitter account on a 0-100 score. Computed based on how complete your profile is as well as the number and influence of your followers. Also shows top users in categories. Good basic stats.
- Tweet Stats: Graphical representation of your Twitter activity including time of day posting, interface used, etc.
- Tweeple Twak (in alpha): Supposedly track your friend gains and declines. Site is up, but can’t see what it does.

I am also careful about what I retweet, etc. I think any professional advisor needs to think hard about dropping out of this social networking tool however. I am most fascinated by the serendipitous nature of Twitter and how you can many times learn something valuable or connect with someone interesting while looking for something totally different. Since much of the marketing and professional research that I do is very focused (even within Financial Services) I find this to be a very valuable component to my practice. I also think that you might think about cross linking Tweetdeck and Hootsuite to the section with Sprout Social, Radian 6 and Social Oomph – as they serve a similar function. Or move your Business social/Twitter Suites and Tools nearer to the Adobe Air and Multi-Platform Clients section – as they are similar types of apps. (You might also define Multi-platform clients)

Also – it is my understanding that Tweetdeck’s most recent changes with Twitter’s new update – that Tweetdeck no longer runs on Adobe Air. You might also mention that TweetDeck is owned by Twitter.
I would also add a note of caution – that some of the other programs you’ve mentioned can have negative consequences, and if used unwisely, and can even get your account banned – following and unfollowing large numbers of twitter followers can get you banned; Unfollowing those who don’t follow you is not always the best policy to follow. Using sites like Magpie too often can annoy your followers and get YOU unfollowed; Sending too many spammy automated direct messages can annoy your followers as well. Think about how an app works, and it’s positive/negative effects on your followers. Check your profile/tweets weekly – ask: would you follow you?
All I’m saying is before you jump into too many tools, do some research, check out reviews and blog posts about them. Be cautious in your initial use, until you get the feel for it. take all advice, including mine, with a grain of salt and filter it through your own business perspective.

One more – For tools to integrate your blog and Twitter – the wordpress Plugins Tweetmeme – or twitter’s own plugin. Both make it easy for readers to share your blog posts with their friends and followers on Twitter. But be sure to go into the settings and add your twitter name – so you get credit in the Tweet that gets sent and so their followers maight decide to follow you as well.
