Margie Arnett, MS

Margie Arnett, MS is the social media specialist behind Giddyup Genie. Margie was invited to be a beta-tester for a variety of mobile applications, is a Foursquare Ambassador, Hashable All-Star, and an #UsGuys gal.

She is an assistant professor at a University in Southern California, and started managing their Facebook and Twitter pages in 2009. She teaches social media marketing classes to graduating dentists, and presented two social media workshops and a related research poster at the 2012 American Dental Education Association annual session. She has three articles published in the Journal of Dental Education, presented about Social Media in Health Education at the 2012 National Conference on Tobacco or Health, and is the keynote speaker for the Association of Dental Educators in Europe 2013 annual conference. She is currently leading two additional social media research projects, and has another manuscript in peer review. All opinions on the blog are hers alone.
