Are you free on Saturday anytime between 10 – 2 and like to eat great food? Then I have a fabulous cause for you to support. There is a fundraiser for leukemia and lymphoma at a local Redlands eatery. Wild Rocket in Redlands is donating their net proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphocytes, which is part of the immune system. This breakfast fundraiser is in honor of Chris, who was the Memorial Honoree in 2011 for the Light the Night Walk. The funds go toward life saving research and support for people battling this cancer. Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

They also have a team that participates in the Light the Night Walk for the LLS. It’s not an official organization (yet), but under the team name, they hold fundraisers throughout the year and the money goes to the LLS. The team name is Primate Aflame in memory of the name of the business Chris wanted to start.

Wild Rocket is located at 345 W. Pearl St, in Redlands, CA. Curious about the types of dishes they serve on their Facebook menu page.
They even have paleo meals and almost endless Bloody Mary’s and Mimosa’s for $13 during brunch. (You are only limited by time)

Links to ‘like’ both the Wild Rocket and Primate Aflame Facebook pages are the highlighted text in the first paragraph. It you can’t make it, that would be a way to support them in the future.
